40 days subsequently His Resurrection, Jesus and His Apostles were gathered together on the Mountain of Olives. The time had come up for Jesus to leave the earth. Afterward He had instructed His Apostles, Jesus ascended into heaven.    President Brigham Young said:

   "In the Millennium, when the Kingdom of God is established on the earth in power, glory and perfection, and the reign of wickedness that has so long prevailed is subdued, the Saints of God volition have the privilege of edifice their temples, and of inbound into them, condign, as it were, pillars in the temples of God [see Revelation 3:12], and they will officiate for their dead. Then we volition see our friends come up, and perchance some that we have been acquainted with here. … And we will accept revelations to know our forefathers clear back to Father Adam and Mother Eve, and we volition enter into the temples of God and officiate for them. And so [children] will be sealed to [parents] until the chain is made perfect back to Adam, so that there will exist a perfect chain of Priesthood from Adam to the winding-up scene" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Brigham Young [1997], 333–34).

4. He volition complete the First Resurrection. Those who have obtained the privilege of coming along in the resurrection of the just volition rise from their graves. They volition exist defenseless up to meet the Savior equally He comes down from heaven. (Run into D&C 88:97–98.)

They, along with the wicked who are already expressionless, will have to wait until the last resurrection. All of the remaining dead volition ascent to run into God. They volition either inherit the telestial kingdom or be cast into outer darkness with Satan (run into D&C 76:32–33, 81–112).

How Can We Exist Ready When the Savior Comes?
